Paramotoring is one of the easiest and safest forms of flight to master and offers the kind of flying experience that is unmatched by other forms of aviation.
It is crucial to develop the necessary skills, judgment, and knowledge of flying before taking to the air. Beginners should start with basic paragliding training and focus on mastering ground-handling techniques before progressing to powered wings. Our courses are thoughtfully designed to transform enthusiastic learners into competent pilots, covering everything from understanding the mechanics of flight to mastering takeoffs and landings.
Training is conducted on a one-on-one basis, with two instructors assigned to each student. The course typically lasts between 15 to 20 days, and successful students will become eligible for the Intermediate Paramotor Course.
If you have no prior experience with paragliding, you will start with a basic winch-based course. This four-day course will enable you to complete a few solo flights on flat ground. It will provide you with a clear understanding of the takeoff sequence, wing control in the air, and landing procedures.
During the interactive debriefing and self-analysis sessions, both the instructors and the students will decide whether to continue with the training. Adventure sports come with inherent risks, so having the right attitude, the ability to make sound decisions, visualization skills, and quick reflexes is essential to minimize these risks and fully enjoy the sport.
The instructors will assess each student's progression level to determine whether they are ready to take on the responsibility of advancing to the next level of training.
The first day is dedicated to orientation, which involves a classroom briefing. We learn about the different parts of the paramotor and their functions. The do's and don'ts of paramotor flying are explained, along with an overview of various safety measures, basic care and maintenance, and inspection procedures. After the classroom session, we proceed to the field for practical training.
We will meet on the field in the morning to assemble and set up the motor under supervision. We will go through the exercise of pre-flight checks. The instructor will conduct the test flight of your motor, followed by a post-flight inspection. There will be a debriefing on the instructor's flight, as well as a briefing for your flight. A team of instructors will assist you during your first flight, and you will receive guidance via radio. By the end of this session, you will have learned:
On the third day, you will review what you learned during the first two days during the first half of the session. In the second half, you will be taught the necessary theory for your flights. You will also complete several flights and practice landing approaches from various angles.
In this session, you will learn:
On the fourth day, you will practice what you learned during the previous three days in the first half of the session. Instructors will closely monitor your progress and provide guidance on how to improve your performance. You will line up for takeoff, complete pre-flight checks, and warm up the engine. During this time, you will start making all decisions under their observation. Depending on the weather conditions, you will continue practicing takeoff and landing.
Summary of the Course:
A comprehensive syllabus is included as course material, along with essential training videos.
